The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Winter - Grey & Mint with Silver Snowflake

Hi all!

Today I've got another mani with snowflakes for you, as promised *winks*.

Polishes:

• Wycon - 277 Grigio Pietra
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Gamma Burst
• Polish My Life - 1950's Mint Fridge
• Mundo de Unas - 18 Silver
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used two stamping plates. The BC-08 one I got from Aliexpress. BPX-L008 is from Born Pretty Store.

Base: 2 coats of Grigio Pietra. I added one coat of Gamma Burst which is full of blue and green flakies. I stamped the scribbly waves using 1950's Mint Fridge and then the snowflake with the silver stamping polish. I finished off with Elemental Ward.

I just love those flakies!

This is this month's last Winter mani, next month NCC is back with the theme New Beginnings!

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Red and Pink

Hi all!

Today I've got something from the vaults for you. I completely forgot about today's challenge, but I do have a red and pink mani from about 11 months ago that I haven't shown you. Because it's from 11 months ago I do have my old squarish nail shape *winks*.

Polishes:

• Barry M - Gelly - GNP 28 Coconut
• Mollon Pro - 27 Red Carpet
• Mollon Pro - 26 Bright Pink
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of each colour. On my Coconut nails I added some water decals from Born Pretty Store (design BP-W04, although I bought it in a pack of 10 different ones). Top coat to finish.

Water decals are super easy nail art for when you don't have much time.

I hope you enjoy this oldie, soon I'll show you some marble nails. I've been playing around with the drip marble technique and loving it!

Hi all!

More snowflakes for this month! And seeing we actually had snowflakes falling down today (even if they've already melted away), it's quite appropriate too!

Polishes:

• Essence - 33 wild white ways
• Mundo de Unas - 18 Silver
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Stardust
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used MoYou London's stamping plate 02 from the Festive Collection.

Base: one coat of wild white ways and one coat of Stardust. Then I stamped on snowflakes with wild white ways first and then with the silver stamping polish on top of that. Sealed it all in with Elemental Ward.

The white snowflakes are very subtle, but I do like having them there peeking through.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - New Year New You

Hi all!

I'm a tad late with this post (2 days...), but I had no idea what to post for this prompt. I'm not a person to reinvent myself each year, I'm not into New Year resolutions and all that. So I decided to give you a mani of something I love. Something green, something leafy.

Polishes:

• Polish My Life - Birthday Suit
• Polish My Life - 1950's Mint Fridge
• Born Pretty Store - 18
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

And I also used stamping plate BP-L047 (item 36305) that Born Pretty Store sent me for review.

Base: either 2 coats of Birthday Suit or 2 coats of Mint Fridge. On my Birthday Suit bases I stamped with Mint Fridge and vice versa using the 3rd from left image on the bottom row. Then I stamped over that with the green stamping polish and  the 3rd from right image on the top row. Sealed it all in with Elemental Ward.

For some reason I forgot to take pictures of my usual second hand pose, so these two are all you get. I absolutely adored this mani, what do you think?

Born Pretty Store review - Harunouta L020 - Paisley

Hi all!

A while ago I got a few stamping plates from Born Pretty Store to review for you. Today I've got a plate from the Harunouta brand for you. It's all paisley and I went for a simple mani, one I can manage on my short evenings when I don't have that much time to do my nails.

Polishes:

• Polish My Life - Little Red Dress
• Polish My Life - Birthday Suit
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Harunouta L020 from Born Pretty Store (item #37413).

Base: 2 coats of Little Red Dress (although if you don't have ridges on your nails you can get away with one coat). I used Birthday Suit to stamp with, Birthday Suit is a very opaque off-white. Sealed everything in with Elemental Ward.

Of course I still can't stamp straight (and I haven't found a clear stamper that works for me yet)...

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Winter - Flakies and Flakes

Hi all!

This mani is inspired by a winter mani Yagala did a while ago using iridescent foil and gel polish. I used a flakie topper instead because using pieces of foil didn't really work for me with regular polish, it went all bumpy. But this is a great alternative for those of us who just use ordinary polish.

Polishes:

• Barry M - Gelly - GNP5 Blueberry
• Essence - 33 wild white ways
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Neutron Star
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Stardust
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of Blueberry and one coat of Neutron Star, the flakie topper. I mixed some wild white ways and Stardust and dabbed it along the edges (although you can barely see it). With a nail art brush and wild white ways I added the snowflakes. Topped everything with Elemental Ward.

Aren't those flakies delicious?

I can wear snowflakes all winter long... I just love them a lot.
