Hi all!
I'll keep it short tonight. It's the second tri polish tuesday this month, 3 more to go! Today's nails weren't planned, they happened... and I've done something similar for my very first blogpost (read and giggle here). I've done some jellyfish-like needle dragging, for a tutorial, check this one by Mr. Candiipants!
Today's helpers:
- OPI - Push and Shove
- Catrice - 880 No Snow Petrol
- NYC - 257 Lavender Cupcake
All nails have two coats of their respective polishes as a base. Obviously my Push and Shove accent nail is not smooth, remember I have a teabag patch underneath. Similar to Mr. Candiipants tutorial I added a drop of polish to my wet second layer and used a nail art brush to drag. I didn't do two droplets first and then dragged (because I didn't rewatch the tutorial), but did one drop and dragged then added the second one and dragged. When it had dried thoroughly I added a coat of HK Girl top coat (yes, also on the Push and Shove, which looked the same before I did).
I did find you had to drag Push and Shove quickly, if I took too long it would cling to my brush and move with it (instead of staying put).
Accidental or not, I do like these!
Curious what the others did this Tuesday? Check them out!
These are cute! I'm getting the hang of needle dragging myself and I love the effects
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing lots of IG video's on needle drag designs lately, I should definitely try it more!
DeleteI like the colors you used for this mani, they go very well together. Needle dragging is not quite my specialty, but I really love the effect of it!
ReplyDeleteThis month's TPT colours are great indeed! Needle dragging is not my speciality either (I've done it twice!) but I do love how it turns out.
DeleteI was so excited to get push and shove, and I haven't even worn it on its own yet! Only used it here and there for nail art
ReplyDeleteI've worn it once on the Cinderella hand, but I've got ridged nails which show up so well with Push and Shove. I refuse to buff them and I don't have a ridge filling base coat. I've tried stamping with P&S, it's not a good idea, dries too fast.
