Hi all!
Another combination post because these prompts were perfect together! I mean... Paisley and '60s... I have done a Paisley mani before, but this time it's in more autumn colours.
Today's pretties:
- China Glaze - 1077 Call of the Wild
- Barry M - Matte - MNP3 Caramel
- Essence - 166 Mister Rusty
First you get the glossy photos *winks*. My base is two coats of Call of the Wild, I love this deep dark chocolate brown! On my index, middle and little finger I added a few simple dots in contrast to my super busy accent nails. I used the same dotting tool for each colour, just used less pressure to get the dots smaller, I did use a different sized tool for the Rusty dots than for the Caramel ones. Then with a small nail art brush (cheap one that I cut to a few bristles) I painted the paisley curves and used a small dotting tool for the dots and flowers. When it dried I sealed it in with G&G HK Girl top coat.
I did like it glossy as well, but the second prompt for our pick and mix was matte or texture. So I added a coat of matte top coat as well, which gives it an aged look I think.
I happily wore these last weekend and was sad to have to take them off on Monday.
More '60s or matte and textures down here!
That accent nail in this manicure is to die for!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was rather happy with them myself :)
