OMD3 - Day 1 - Teal

Hi all!

During the month of July the Oh Mon Dieu Part 3 (OMD3) Nail Art Challenge is hosted by Brijit from Brijits Digits, Jacqui from Craftynail, Jemma from Eeeek! Nail Polish! and Lindsay from Nail That Accent!. There are awesome prizes to be won just for joining up, no judging or voting involved! For more information how to enter read this page here!

On a different note, let me explain my month-long absence shortly. Life decided to be nasty and I lost my sweet furbaby Beren to FIP. Horrible disease, totally unexpected and heartbreaking to lose him. He was part of our lives for just over 10 years, I've seen him grow from the tiniest 80 gram kitten into a nearly 6kg boy. He was our cuddly bear and we miss him. I lost my blogging mojo and I'm trying to find it back. I hope this challenge helps. Some mani's are from my vault, some will be new. Hence the changes in nail length you'll see in the coming weeks. Also I'm cutting the amount of photos down to save me time. I'll try to keep my descriptions shorter as well. I can't promise I'll keep up with this challenge, but I'll try for one month.

Today's prompt is Teal... excuse the teal leaning towards turquoise... pretend you didn't notice *winks*

Polishes:
  • Barry M - Gelly - GNP21 Sugar Apple
  • Barry M - Gelly - GNP15 Guava
  • Essence - Stampy polish - Black
  • Essence - gel polish base coat
  • Essence - gel polish top coat

I also used Born Pretty Store stamping plate BP-L009 that you can get here.

Base: Saran wrap of Sugar Apple and Guava. Stamping on top.

Obviously I'm not the best stamper...

Love, Brethil

  2. I am so sorry! I felt the same way after my Saachi passed away in March but I eventually got back into blogging more regularly. While she was ill she would sit with her big face on my lap while I did my nails and after she was gone nail painting felt so strange without her.

I look forward to your designs!
    This one is super cute!
