40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Nude + Colour

Hi all!

I'm a bit late, but here's my entry for this week's Nude + Colour prompt. I had to combine it with swirls.

Polishes:
  • Essence - 35 engaged
  • Foxy Paws - Lambada
  • Foxy Paws - I'm Blue
  • Essence - Stampy polish black
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Stamping plate I used is BP-L 003.

Base: 2 coats of engaged. Added swirls with Lambada and I'm Blue with a flag nail art brush. Because this didn't work out as planned I decided to stamp over it with proper swirls. Ended with Elemental Ward.

Even though the original plan was a fail, I do like this mani a lot!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Insects

Hi all!

This week is all about insects! I love insects, they are amazing creatures and useful as well. I didn't have time to freehand something (I did these nails on Monday evening) so I went with stamping. And I have a confession... I do not own that many stamping plates with insects. I think I found two.... (well, there are tiny butterfly images, but they were just too tiny).

Polishes:
  • Polish My Life - Vail
  • Polish My Life - The Rockies
  • Mundo de Unas - 23
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

And I also used two stamping plates. Hēhē 094 from the latest Hēhē collection - The Science Collection. I bought a couple from this collection (and a few from older collections) a while ago.

And I used the beetle image from Bundle Monster's BM-612 plate.

Base: 2 coats of Vail. One coat of Elemental Ward, some drying time and then I stamped the leaf cross section image (it looks like parenchyma tissue from a plant, so I am assuming leaf ;)...) with The Rockies. On my accent nails I also stamped the beetle image with the MdU chocolate polish. Ended with more Elemental Ward.

Getting the image centered is an issue (it wouldn't pick up with my clear stampers).

Still, I wore this for 4 days, I am in love with the parenchyma image.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: 80's - Dotted Chartreuse

Hi all!

This month is all about the '80's! For my first mani I got my inspiration from this image here.

Polishes:
  • Barry M - Gelly - GNP28 Coconut
  • Barry M - Gelly - GNP18 Mango
  • Maybelline - Bleached Neon - 244 Chic Chartreuse
  • Catrice - 48 Emerald Bay
  • Digital Color Cream - F1
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward
  • Barry M - Matte Top Coat

Base: 2 coats of Coconut. I'm already half way through this bottle, which makes loading the brush with polish a bit more difficult than a full bottle. I do own a back-up *winks*. Using nail art brushes I applied the colour blotches and tiny dots. Top coated with Elemental Ward first to prevent streaking and then with my matte top coat.

Fun looking pattern right?

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pink & Aqua

Hi all!

Life was so busy I actually skipped a week in this challenge, oops. But today I've got some Pink and Aqua for you! I had to combine it with stripes! And it turned out quite nice, at least I think so.

Polishes:
  • Barry M - Gelly - GNP23 Rose Hip
  • China Glaze - 1152 Sunday Funday
  • Mollon Pro - 26 Bright Pink
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of Rose Hip. I used several striping brushes to add the stripes with Sunday Funday and Bright Pink. Elemental Ward last.

Look at that super thin line! Obviously all free handed.

I really enjoyed wearing this, it had been a while since I've had stripes on my nails.

Love, Brethil
