Hi all!
This week is all about insects! I love insects, they are amazing creatures and useful as well. I didn't have time to freehand something (I did these nails on Monday evening) so I went with stamping. And I have a confession... I do not own that many stamping plates with insects. I think I found two.... (well, there are tiny butterfly images, but they were just too tiny).
Polishes:
- Polish My Life - Vail
- Polish My Life - The Rockies
- Mundo de Unas - 23
- Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward
And I also used two stamping plates. Hēhē 094 from the latest Hēhē collection - The Science Collection. I bought a couple from this collection (and a few from older collections) a while ago.
And I used the beetle image from Bundle Monster's BM-612 plate.
Base: 2 coats of Vail. One coat of Elemental Ward, some drying time and then I stamped the leaf cross section image (it looks like parenchyma tissue from a plant, so I am assuming leaf ;)...) with The Rockies. On my accent nails I also stamped the beetle image with the MdU chocolate polish. Ended with more Elemental Ward.
Getting the image centered is an issue (it wouldn't pick up with my clear stampers).
Still, I wore this for 4 days, I am in love with the parenchyma image.
Love, Brethil
More insects down here
The design looks nice and the stamping looks great.
