26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Going on holiday & NCC presents Neon

Hi all!

It's been two weeks since my last post, life has just been even busier than ever. Today I'm combining two prompts for two challenges. The prompts are "Going on holiday" and "Neon". Summer holiday and neons just go together perfectly. Not that I'm going on summer holiday, but still.

Polishes:

• Catrice - 82 A Gallon of Melon
• Catrice - 107 Robinson Coralsoe
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base:  one coat of Melon, then I did a gradient with Melon at the cuticle and Coralsoe at the tips. I applied nail vinyls from Vinyl Quickies (out of business now I believe) and  then did a reverse gradient. After I removed the vinyls I top coated with Elemental Ward.

This mani did make me feel very summery, what do you think?

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Water

Hi all!

Today's theme is Water. I went with a polish that has a water related name and a stamping image that reminds me of seaweed. I do tend to lean to easy nail art during weekdays when I've got little time, like stamping.

Polishes:

• KIKO - Sugar Mat -  644 Sea Blue
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 06 Mint
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 17 Turquoise
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used a Born Pretty Store stamping plate, plate BPL-026.

Base: 2 coats of Sea Blue, this is a textured polish, I did add a layer of Elemental Ward before stamping though. I then double stamped with the Mint and Turquoise stamping polish and ended with more Elemental Ward to smooth it all out.

I love this colour combination! What do you think?

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Neon - Lambada Lightning

Hi all!

As I mentioned in my previous NCC post, this month our theme is Neon. It's getting warmer here, so wearing neon colours is very appropriate. I love this green polish called Lambada, so I had to use it.

Polishes:

• Foxy Paws - Lambada
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Dark Matter
• Essence - 33 wild white ways
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used Hēhē plate 093.

Base: 2 coats of Lambada, a neon green holographic polish. I double stamped the tiny lightning bolts with white first and black second. Topped it all with Elemental Ward.

My double stamping skills are not the best, but I really don't mind with this, it just looks fun.

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Green - Stripes & Leaves

Hi all!

This post is going up a bit too late, as it actually belongs to May's Green theme. June's theme is Neon, so you've got that still to look forward to later this month!

Polishes:

• Essence - 83 pretty cool life
• Essence - 159 the green & the grunge
• Essence - 139 walk on the wild side
• Polish My Life - Le Top Coat

Base: 2 coats of pretty cool life. I added stripes on some nails and fern leaves on the rest. I just used a striping brush for both. Topped it with Le Top Coat.

I really enjoyed this green combo! Now to think of some fun neon stuff to do on my nails!
