Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Flowers - Mint & Blue Floral

Hi all!

My last flowers mani for this month is inspired by this floral pattern. It took me a while, but I'm very happy about the end results.

Polishes:
  • Essence - LE Beauty Beats - 02 I'm Backstage
  • Essence - 33 wild white ways
  • Essence - 25 prince charming
  • Kaleidoscope - 17 turquoise
  • Kaleidoscope - 79 gray blue

Polishes:
  • Maybelline - LE Bleached Neons - 241 Sun Flare
  • Maybelline - LE Bleached Neons - 242 Coral Heat
  • Boulevard - Demim Style - unnamed blue
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of I'm Backstage. I used a thin nail art brush to paint the pattern, and a dotting tool for the white dots. Sealed it all in with Elemental Ward.

Do you like mani's inspired by patterns?

Love, Brethil

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Flowers - Flowery Zebra

Hi all!

And another floral mani from the vault. But one I really adored immensely.

Polishes:
  • Sinful Colors - 101 Snow Me White
  • Kaleidoscope - Aquarelle Tints - 03
  • Kaleidoscope - Aquarelle Tints - 04
  • Kaleidoscope - Aquarelle Tints - 05
  • Kaleidoscope - Aquarelle Tints - 06
  • Kaleidoscope - Aquarelle Tints - 10
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Dark Matter
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used Hēhē stamping plate 076.

Base: 2 coats of Snow Me White. I stamped using Dark Matter and used the lead lighting technique to add colour. Those Aquarelle tints are just awesome for this. Sealed it all in with Elemental Ward.

I really love the blue and green together, it gives a nice contrast to the corally pink flowers.

Doesn't this make you want to lead light as well?

Love, Brethil

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - The End of Summer

Hi all!

Time flies! Can't believe the summer is nearly over... I haven't had much time off yet though. I've been working during the summer months, I'll have to wait till the second half of September before I've got some time off. Today is also the first time I'm showing you a special purple polish by Lak door Tijn. For the non-dutchies, this is a polish created by a sweet boy called Tijn who got our country polishing their nails for charity. Tijn had brainstem cancer and wanted to collect 1 million euro to fund a robot that can help children with this type of cancer in their treatment. Normal chemotherapy does not work for this type of cancer, and there wasn't a robot in the country for convection enhanced delivery of chemotherapy. He was the face of a crowd funding campaign that sold 4 different polishes. I bought the purple one. Tijn died the day after his crowd funding campaign reached the 1 million mark on July 7th. He was only 6 years old.

Polishes:
  • Polish My Life - Pumpkin Mashup
  • Polish My Life - Deep, Dark & Couture
  • Lak door Tijn - purple
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate BPL-026 from Born Pretty Store.

Base: 1 coat of Pumpkin Mashup. I sponged on a gradient with Pumpkin Mashup, the purple Lak door Tijn and Deep, Dark & Couture. I stamped with that last polish as well. Top coated with Elemental Ward.

I really loved this gradient with vampy tips, what do you think?

Love, Brethil

Do you like this simple rose mani? Let me know!

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Flowers - Red & Coral Flowers

*Press sample*

Hi all!

The month of August is all about Flowers! Considering I have a lot of mani's in my vault with flowers, this shouldn't be too hard for me. Today's mani was actually on my nails back in January... I showed a sneak preview of the work in progress on Instagram, but never got around to posting the mani... so here it is!

Polishes:
  • Polish My Life - Birthday Suit
  • Polish My Life - Ruby Red Shoes
  • Essence - 35 engaged
  • Essence - 48 my love diary
  • Essence - 159 the green & the grunge
  • Essence - 150 upper green side

Polishes:
  • Catrice - LE Eve In Bloom - C05 Blossom you, blossom me
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Stone of Time
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Pretty Like Poison
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - I Live, I Die, I Live Again
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used Born Pretty Store stamping plate BP-119 (#37518) which was given to me to review.

Base: Birthday Suit, can't remember if I did 1 or 2 coats. You hardly see it anyway. I had made stamping decals beforehand using all the different polishes listed above. I applied them to my nails a few days after I made the decals and sealed it all in with Elemental Ward.

Look at that sparkle in I Live, I Die, I Live Again, isn't it lovely?

I remember I loved wearing this, and I should make some nice decals again soon, you can store them in a plastic bag for a couple of days in advance.

Born Pretty Store kindly gave me a discount code to share with you all! If you use code BBL91 you get 10% off your purchase! You can find their nail art products here! And they offer worldwide free shipping!
