Born Pretty Store review - Flower Yarn & Tropical Punch stamping plates

Hi all!

I've got a tropical look for you today, good to forget about the rain!

Polishes:

• Born Pretty - BP-U04 Moonlit (item 42851)
• MoYou - Glacier
• MoYou - Teenage Blush
• MoYou - Scandi Sun
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 01 Black
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used two stamping plates from Born Pretty Store, kindly sent to review: Flower Yarn S002 (item 43672) and Tropical Punch L002 (item 44329).

Base: Either  2 coats of Moonlit or Glacier. I stamped the scales from the Flower Yarn plate on top. I created 2 stamping decals of one of the flamingo images. I stamped those in black and then added the colouring using the other polishes. After adding the decals to my nails I sealed everything with Elemental Ward.

Moonlit just makes it so tropical, don't you agree?

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Loki

Hi all!

This last mani of the Look Up week is inspired by a poster hanging above one of my computer screens. I've got Loki looking down at me, great view to have each day. All the geometric patterns combined with Loki's colours ended up with this mani today.

Polishes:

• Essence - 161 ciao oliviero
• Essence - 139 walk on the wild side
• Essence - 160 deep sea, baby
• Catrice - LE Matchpoint - C01 Team Lucky Mustards
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate ND104.

Base: 1 coat of ciao oliviero. I dabbed some of the polishes onto a stamper and smooshed it on top of my nails. I stamped using deep sea, baby and topped it with Elemental Ward.

I do love the combination of these colours and stamping marbles are easy and fun as well. I also owe you how my desk area and everything that dangles above looks like, so here you go:

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Hops

Hi all!

One of the things I had to show you, is our hops. During Summer when I open my kitchen door to the garden and look up, are our hops. It is also the main reason why I had to own the stamping plate I used today.

Polishes:

• Born Pretty - Sweet Bubble Series - BP-SB10 Thousands Of Love (#44296-10)
• Born Pretty - Earth Tone Series - BP-ET06 Twilight (#42855-06)
• Catrice - 680 Khaki Perry
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 85 Brown
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Creative Shop 22.

Base: 2 coats of Thousands of Love. I used Twilight and Khaki Perry to brush on stripes with the Mohra Ombre Brush. I stamped the hops using Brown. Sealed with Elemental Ward.

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Leopard

Hi all!

One other critter lurking just above one of my computer screens is a leopard. This guy here to be exact, Universe version. Hence the leopard spots for today.

Polishes:

• Polish My Life - Little Red Dress
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Stone of the Soul
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 01 Black
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Infinity Nails 60.

Base: 1 coat of Little Red Dress, 2 coats of Stone of the Soul. I stamped the leopard spots using black and topped it with Elemental Ward.

Bonus info, Stone of the Soul glows in the dark.

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Roses

Hi all!

One other thing hanging above my desk is some fake roses. I kept today's look simple as well.

Polishes:

• Catrice - 28 Taupe League
• Cirque - Book of Shadows
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Creative Shop 139.

Base: 2 coats of Taupe League. On my accent nails I added Book of Shadows. I stamped the rose image (3rd from left, top row) with both polishes. Top coated with Elemental Ward.

Book of Shadows is one of my faves, I just love this colour, plus it pairs so well with Taupe League as well.

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Dragonfly

Hi all!

This month's theme is Look Up. A lot of what you'll see this week is inspired by what I see when I look up from my spot at my desk where I'm sitting right now. I won't show you how that looks like until Friday though *winks*. One of the things I see when I look up is a dragonfly.

Polishes:

• Polish My Life - Grey Slay
• Born Pretty Store - 379
• Essence - 11 instant match
• Kaleidoscope - stamping 01 Black
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plates Hēhē 074 and Maniology's BM-S323.

Base: 2 coats of Grey Slay. I used the green polish to stamp the plaid pattern on first. I added distressed stripes in blue with a nearly dry nail polish brush. Finally I stamped the dragonflies on top and then finished with Elemental Ward.
