The Digital Dozen does Textured - Shells

Hi all!

Last mani for this week, and again, I used textured polishes. I'm keeping this short, because I am a tad late posting....

Polishes:

• KIKO - 636 Mint
• KIKO - 637 Turquoise
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 86 Nephritis

I also used Creative Shop 28.

Base: One coat of Mint. I added a gradient of both textured polishes with a sponge. I stamped a shell image using Nephritis.

The Digital Dozen does Textured - Strict

Hi all!

This week might be filled with textured polishes... today I've got an oldie for you that I got in Berlin way back in July 2013 around the start of this blog.

Polishes:

• P2 - Sand Style - 060 Strict
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 89 Cognac
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 01 Black

I also used stamping plate Creative Shop 31.

Base: 2 coats of Strict. I stamped with Cognac first and Black second.

Apologies for the blurry thumb picture, it appears I didn't actually take any that were in focus...

I always love Strict, it's such a lovely colour, neutral yet a bit funky from being textured.

The Digital Dozen does Marble - Smoosh

Hi all!

Today I've got a smoosh marble for you. An easy technique, but always a lovely result.

Polishes:

• Polish My Life - Minted Diamonds
• Polish My Life - Cloud Blue
• Polish My Life - Peaceful Serene
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 22 Silver
• China Glaze - 551 Fairy Dust
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used Creative Shop stamping plate 29.

Base: 1 coat of Minted Diamonds. I dabbed the polishes onto a stamper and smooshed them onto my nails. I stamped the crystal image using the silver stamping polish. I added some Fairy Dust before sealing it in with Elemental Ward.

The pastels blended a bit too well together, but I think it still looks nice, the marble is just not as obvious.

Today's marble mani is stamped. I didn't really own a real marble stamping image, but some bare branches did the trick.

Polishes:

• Aliquid Lacquer - Gargoyle
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 22 Silver
• Mundo de Uñas - 33 
• Mundo de Uñas - 34
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used Creative Shop stamping plate 31 (center image top row).

Base: 2 coats of Gargoyle. I stamped with Silver first and then with a gradient of both greys. Sealed it in with Elemental Ward.

The Digital Dozen does Holo - Physalis

Hi all!

Running late as usual, I blame the nasty cold I caught, it's been making me feel out of sorts for days now. Today's star is the Physalis (and the Creative Shop image plates I used obviously).

Polishes:

• Catrice - 865 Yellow Sub-Mandarin
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Stone of the Soul
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 01 Black
• Polish My Life - Icon
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used 2 stamping plates from Creative Shop: 57 and 139.

Base: 1 coat of Yellow Sub-Mandarin, 1 coat of Stone of the Soul. I created stamping decals with the black and Icon. Topcoated with Elemental Ward.

I forgot to take a direct light photo, you have to trust me Stone of the Soul is holo.

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Hops

Hi all!

One of the things I had to show you, is our hops. During Summer when I open my kitchen door to the garden and look up, are our hops. It is also the main reason why I had to own the stamping plate I used today.

Polishes:

• Born Pretty - Sweet Bubble Series - BP-SB10 Thousands Of Love (#44296-10)
• Born Pretty - Earth Tone Series - BP-ET06 Twilight (#42855-06)
• Catrice - 680 Khaki Perry
• Kaleidoscope - Stamping 85 Brown
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Creative Shop 22.

Base: 2 coats of Thousands of Love. I used Twilight and Khaki Perry to brush on stripes with the Mohra Ombre Brush. I stamped the hops using Brown. Sealed with Elemental Ward.

The Digital Dozen does Look Up - Roses

Hi all!

One other thing hanging above my desk is some fake roses. I kept today's look simple as well.

Polishes:

• Catrice - 28 Taupe League
• Cirque - Book of Shadows
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

I also used stamping plate Creative Shop 139.

Base: 2 coats of Taupe League. On my accent nails I added Book of Shadows. I stamped the rose image (3rd from left, top row) with both polishes. Top coated with Elemental Ward.

Book of Shadows is one of my faves, I just love this colour, plus it pairs so well with Taupe League as well.
