Hi all!
This month is all about the Pantone Spring Colors (scroll all the way down to see them). The two Essence polishes I used remind me of Blooming Dahlia. I've also tried out two Born Pretty Store items they kindly sent to me for review. The first is plastic stamping plate BC-04 (item
42047-1) that came with a regular firm stamper and scraper.
Polishes:
- Essence - 98 pure beauty
- Essence - 107 rosewood forest
- Kaleidoscope - Stamping 01 black
- Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward
I tried to scan the stamping plate like I usually do, but it did not show up the images that well. So I also stamped (using the firm stamper that came with it) to show you all the images.
The plate has a mix of images, some lacy designs, some variations on scales and a couple of random ones really.
Base: two coats of Pure beauty. I added some distressed swipes with Rosewood forest on top before stamping the ikat image. Ended with a coat of Elemental Ward.
I've been so used to a more squishy stamper, that using a firm one like this is quite difficult for me. You just have to work quickly (and in one smooth movement, unlike I did on my thumb).
Comparing the plastic stamping plate to my ordinary metal ones, I prefer metal plates. It is much easier to see the design and I have the impression they work better as well.
Born Pretty Store kindly gave me a discount code to share with you all! If you use code BBL91 you get 10% off your purchase! You can find their

Love, Brethil
