OMD3 - Day 23 - Under the Sea

Today: Under the Sea. Since we've done fish on day 14 I decided not to use any in today's mani. So I have Mister Octopus for you in his underwater habitat.

Base: 2 coats of Raindrop. Saran wrapped Never Green Before. Then added the rest with brushes and dotting tools (for the octopus eyes). Ended with Elemental Ward.

Isn't Mister Octopus cute?

NCC presents: Travel #2

Hi all!

So second travel option is by Tardis. Which would be a great travel option. Just saying.

Polishes:

• Barry M - Gelly - GNP21 Sugar Apple
• Sinful Colors - 101 Snow Me White

Base: 2 coats of Sugar Apple. Added clouds and then my Tardis nail vinyls from You Polish. Ended with the Essence top coat which was very bubbly. Also, this is my Cinderella hand and I wore this simultaneously as my hot air balloons.

You can get these vinyls here. I got mine in Tardis blue obviously... (sapphire blue).

OMD3 - Day 22 - Star Sign

Today: Star sign. I had a difficult time getting inspired by this prompt. In the end I settled on star constellations.

Polishes:

• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Dark Matter
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - The Final Frontier
• Sinful Colors - 101 Snow Me White
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 1 coat of Dark Matter and 1 coat of The Final Frontier. With a dotting tool I added the stars and with a nail art brush I connected the dots to turn them into the constellations. I chose some random ones that seemed doable really. Little finger is Lizard, ringfinger is Capricorn (my sign), middle finger is Twins and index finger is Little Lion.

Thumb constellation is supposed to be Sagittarius. Sort of. You can't see all of it unfortunately and the relative distances are a bit off.

Today: Travel. How about travelling by hot air balloon? Also sneakily *coughs* using this for the NCC month of Travel as well.

Base: 2 coats of Sugar Apple. Added the clouds first, then the white outline of the balloons and the rest. Ended with Elemental Ward.

Today: Jewels. I interpreted this as jewelry. Some of my favourite jewelry pieces are from Mate Amargo Joyería. This lovely Spanish artist sells his handmade jewelry on fairs across Europe. In winter I think he's based in Valencia. I've only visited Dutch fairs and he's usually at Elfia and Castlefest. I love his work, a lot. So today's mani is inspired by a pair of earrings of his.

• NYC - 035 Cupcakes and Latte
• Essence - LE Superheroes - 05 Wonder Wow! Man!
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of Mint Me Up, a lovely mint with gold flecks. With my nail art brush I painted the leaves and logo. Inside of the leaves is a mix of both mint polishes, although this is probably not that visible. Top coat.

Today: Lipstick. I love my new purple lippie!

Polishes:

• L.A. Girl - 3D Effects - GNL304 Purple Effect
• Essence - Nail Art Stampy polish - white
• L.A. Colors - CNP512 Edgy

For stamping I used Born Pretty Store BP-L012.

 

Base: 2 coats of Purple Effect. So stunning.... I stamped with the white polish on top. With a nail art brush I coloured some of the lips with Edgy, which is a gelly. Topcoat.

Today: Love. I love grey polishes. And indies. Especially grey indies!

• Nail Pattern Boldness - Glitter Food topcoat
• Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward

Base: 2 coats of each polish. E-V needed some Glitter Food. Some simple dots on the pink nail with a dotting tool.

Isn't E-V pretty? Juicy grey with silver glitter and some pink for accent. Love the flecks.
