Born Pretty Store Review - Paisley water decals

*Press Sample*

Hi all!

I'm here again! I've been under the weather, the flu caught up with me unfortunately. I've been doing my nails less frequently, or simply wearing a single polish with no nail art. The mani I'll be showing you today has been sitting on my pc for a few weeks....

The polishes:
  • Kaleidoscope by El Corazon - Thermo - t-24
  • Essence - Stampy polish - white
  • Lucky 13 Lacquer - Elemental Ward (top coat)

I also used two Born Pretty Store products, first stamping plate BP-L003 (item 17921) which I also used in this post here.

The second Born Pretty Store product is a sheet of paisley water decals, item 17032 pattern DS-107. Both Born Pretty Store products were sent for review.

I started with a base of the Kaleidoscope thermal, 2 coats, which is supposed to change from grey in warm state to old rose in cold state. I will make a separate post for this polish, but the change is not that apparent. Using my white stamping polish I stamped the quatrefoil like pattern on top of my base. After that dried I added the water decals. I simply cut them out separately, let them soak in water for 10-20 seconds and then use tweezers to place them on my nail. BPS water decals are good quality and easy to use. I sealed everything in with a coat of Elemental Ward.

I do like these water decals, they have a lot of detail that is not easily reproduced free hand (not for me at least).

I really enjoyed this mani and I still have plenty water decals left on the sheet for future mani's. I think I used about a fifth of the sheet for both hands.

Born Pretty Store kindly gave me a discount code to share with you all! If you use code BBL91 you get 10% off your purchase! You can find their nail art products here! And they offer worldwide free shipping!

Love, Brethil

  2. The decals are so pretty on the stamped base you've made. The whole mani has a vintage touch in my opinion. Love it!
