N.A.I.L. - November - Pandas

Hi all!

We're starting November off with Pandas! These endangered animals have been iconic probably since WWF started using them as their logo. Those black and white markings make them very recognisable and rather cute as well. There are lots of cute panda images floating around on the web, but I based my mani on this image here. My mani is not an exact copy, but it's similar.

The polishes I used:

• NYC - 035 Cupcakes and Latte
• Catrice - 11 Miss Piggy's BF
• W7 - 28 Black
• Sinful Colors - 101 Snow Me White
• L.A. Colors - NP356 French Nails Crème

I used Cupcakes and Latte as my base and Miss Piggy's BF was added onto it with the saran wrap method. I sealed it in with a coat of G&G HK Girl top coat before I started on my pandas. To created my panda heads, I did everything in steps, starting with a white head. Once I had those across my nails I added the black border around the heads, and then I added the ears. Next I did all noses and snout lines, which are not all alike. Doing these fine lines with nail polish isn't the easiest, especially because my bottle of Black is thickening. Then I added the black eye spots and the rest of the eyes, which were so tiny. I mixed some Snow Me White with the French Nail Crème (which is super sheer) to get an off-white colour for the swirls. I top coated it all with G&G HK Girl top coat after it had dried for at least 30 minutes.

I had a tiny bit of bleeding when I applied my top coat, probably because I didn't let it "float" enough.

I am very happy with how these turned out, they're so cute!
