Catrice - Eve In Bloom

Catrice has a new Limited Edition called Eve In Bloom. I could not resist and bought all 5 polishes in this collection. I also saw the new Essence Be Loud! LE, but it did not appeal to me at all (nor did the previous one). Because past week was hectic the pictures are not the quality I'd like. I also made the mistake to try and move the swatch sticks in one hand, damaging them in the process. Ah well, no time to do new ones. Let's look at the bottles first.

I love the bottle caps and the polish names are cute as well. I do wonder the timing of this LE. It's September and autumn is starting... not the time for flowers in bloom.

All swatch sticks have 2 coats of polish and no top coat (hence the damaging). First coats were a bit streaky, but it evened out nicely with the second coat. Bloomynous and Floralilac are shimmers, Bloomynous being a cream with gold shimmer, Floralilac is a violet purple with a similar shaded shimmer. The other 3 polishes are cremes.

Bed of flowers is a soft plum purple, a shade lighter than KIKO's 378 light plum. Rosebuddy is a lovely crimson red and Blossom you, blossom me is a pink coral shade. I did not manage to swatch all 5, but I can show you Bloomynous and Floralilac!

Both polishes show 2 coats plus top coat. I absolutely adore Floralilac. It is a shade of purple I did not have yet, and purple is probably the colour I own most polishes of. I have to do a count soon for the 33 Day Challenge to determine which colour I own the most of anyway, then I'll be certain.
