Nail Art Ideas Linkup - April - Rain

Hi all!

I know I normally post this challenge on Fridays... but I've been under the weather (no pun intended) lately and actually wore Betty's Fetti Milkshake for most of the week. I just did not have the energy to do my nails. But I didn't want to skip a N.A.I.L. week either...

Here we have:

• W7 - 28 Black
• LynBDesigns - White Fang

I had been uninspired all week with this prompt... I have done a rain inspired mani before, you can see it here. I wanted to do something different this time. So I used my trusted Google image search to let me be inspired. I have used this image as my inspiration, but I added an umbrella as well.

I am wearing 2 coats of Black and used White Fang to create the rain and the outline of the silhouette. This was with my tiniest brush (cut to 4 or 5 hairs), so I had to dip in polish lots. I used a bigger brush (yet still small) to do the umbrella. I topped it with HK Girl Top Coat.

I love the photo that inspired this (beautiful photography), and I quite like this inspired mani. Sometimes rain makes you happy...
