The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Stripes - Black Plaid

Hi all!

After I did last week's Nostalgic plaid mani, I couldn't shake the idea of inverting it. So that's exactly what I did, except that I used two multichromes this time.

Today's polishes:

I started with a black base and then added stripes with my striping brush. The nails either have a double Mutagen and single Nostalgia stripe, or vice versa. I sealed it in with G&G HK Girl top coat.

I tried to capture the colour shifts, but they are less obvious, there was an angle where Mutagen and Nostalgia were both green (just different shades). Unfortunately I didn't capture it on camera.

I like these, but to get the most out of the colour shifts, a base of the multichrome like I did last week would be better!

More stripey goodness down here!

    1. Thanks, multichromes always have a way with light, and yes, they appear to be glowing ;)
