Hi all!
Today's challenge is all about green. And it happens that two of my favourite green polishes are more than a year old! Yay! I bought them somewhere in 2012 I think. Neither of these is available anymore, they got purged from Catrice's core collection ages ago.
The polishes I used, from left to right:
- Catrice - 810 ACid DC
- Catrice - 740 King Of Greens
- Rimmel - 800 Black Out
The name of ACid DC inspired me to do some poisonous drippy like nails. The Acid part of the name, not the hint to AC DC *winks*.
I am wearing 2 coats of each polish as a base. On my thumb and ring finger I freehanded warning symbols with a small brush and Black Out. I was so tempted to grab my Barry M nail art pen, but it's not older than a year, so I couldn't. On my ring finger I have a normal warning sign, but on my thumb a radioactive sign. Okay, so acid is not radioactive, but hey, the acid warning symbol is a lot harder to draw! Besides, this green nearly glows and radioactive stuff in cartoons glows. End of logic.
On the other nails I did drippy patterns of ACid DC oozing over King Of Greens. I think these are my first drippy nails, but I felt it was necessary with these polishes *nods*.
And the Cinderella hand! I kept it a bit simpler here, because I am right handed and my freehanding skills are nearly non-existant for my left hand.
I hope you liked these "dangerous" nails! FYI, this blogpost is not contaminated, you won't grow an extra hand now you've read this.
Check out the other green mani's down below!
