FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Dots & Stripes


Hi all!

Dots & Stripes for today, yay for dotticures, and I really like today's mani *grins*. Easy and fun.


Today's pretties:

  • Essence - LE Beauty Beats - 03 As Long As You Love Me

Taking pictures for my giveaway reminded me I should use Floralilac again, so I grabbed some polishes out of my Helmer for today's manicure. Perhaps a strange combination at first glace, but I think it works.



Because I loved doing this mani, I decided to do a dotting gradient or however you'd call it. But with 3 colours this time. I used one dotting tool for this, it's easy enough to get small and bigger dots with the same tool depending on how much pressure you use. My thumb and ring finger got stripes, freehanded with a small nail art brush in a random colour order.




Even if this is not that difficult, it looks great and interesting.And I like these colours together, bit quirky but nice.

      They do look like bubbles, it's like I have some kind of fun fizzy drink on my nails... now if only fizzy drinks had coloured CO2 bubbles... *winks*
